March ’23 Monthly Meeting – Exoplanets

For the March Monthly Meeting, we welcome Marina Lafarga Magro, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Warwick University who will deliver a presentation on Exoplanets. Despite confirmation of the existence of exoplanets is relatively recent (30 years or so) their existence was considered as far back as the 17th century!

The result of NASA’s Kepler mission which ended in 2018 was the discovery of nearly 3000 exoplanets with another 2000 or so to be confirmed!

Maybe we are not alone!
