Apr ’26 Monthly Meeting – The Land of the Long White Cloud and Astronomical Diversions

For this month’s meeting, we welcome back our intrepid explorer Mike Frost whose wanderings have taken him down under to the Land of the Long White Cloud.

Now, for many astronomers, any talk of cloudy skies is not necessarily going to set the hearts racing. You don’t have to travel the planet for grey skies. On the other hand, aside from being the Director of the Historical Section of the BAA, Mike is well known to us all and never fails to provide an entertaining speech. Whatever the subject!
